  • Microsoft® Windows® Operating System:
    • Windows 7
      • HollyHug currently is developed on Windows 7 and primary testing focus goes towards this platform. This means that Windows 7 users are likely to have the best experience when using this software.
    • Windows Vista
      • HollyHug began its development on Windows Vista, and when it is feasible, regular checks and tests are done to try to keep HollyHug operating on Windows Vista with equal or very comparable levels of functionality. It's very likely your experience with HollyHug on Windows Vista will be very smooth, although occasionally, you might see a bleeding-edge feature be either unsupported or more error-prone on this operating system, however, most of the most important HollyHug features are very mature when running on Windows Vista.
    • Windows XP
      • HollyHug "runs" on Windows XP with extremely limited feature support. Originally, the plan was to have HollyHug also backport support for all the Windows Vista/7 advanced features to this operating system. However, we are of the belief that it may no longer be worth the effort to continue this work due to the ongoing rise in users who are making the move up to Windows 7. If you are a die-hard Windows XP user and want to see HollyHug come to your OS with its full glory, please do let us know, we will listen to you and your commitment to your platform will be recognized if we get enough reports of interested users!
  • An NVIDIA Video Card is currently required in order to take advantage of HollyHug's quick display profile switching function.
  • At least one Windows-supported sound card is highly recommended (behavior with no sound card is currently unknown/unpredictable)...
  • A Windows-compatible networking device (NIC/WiFi/etc) will be required to make use of HollyHug's HollyNet functionality.
  • If you wish HollyHug to optimize switching on/off of S/PDIF locking on M-Audio (Avid) Delta sound hardware, one of the following Delta products is required:
    • M-Audio Delta 1010LT (10-in/10-out PCI Virtual Studio)
    • Other 1010-series Products using the "Delta Control Panel" probably work but are currently untested (let me know of experiences with other hardware, please!)
